Juicy peaches covered in crispy, crunchy cookie dough. This peach cobbler is one of the quickest and best desserts. Your already have all the ingredients at home.
A cobbler is, as its name suggests, something that has been "cobbled together". It originated as a popular dessert in the British colonial period (1801 - 1921). It is traditionally eaten lukewarm and served with cream, ice cream, vanilla or chocolate sauce. This dessert is the big brother of the crumble.

Notes:
You can make the cobbler with almost any fruit. There are no limits to your imagination. I once made it with cooked apples. I washed, peeled and chopped the apples. Then I cooked them with vanilla sugar and cinnamon and put them into a casserole.
The butter must be soft for this recipe. If you don't have any soft butter at home, you can soften it by adding warm milk.
Instead of ground almonds, you can also use ground hazelnuts. This mixture will also be tasting excellent.
Preparation:
1.Step:
2 TS baking powder, 150g flour, 1 pinch of salt, 70g sugar, 1 pich of cinnamon or 1 packet vanilla sugar
Mix all ingredients well together.
2. Step:
40ml milk, 40ml heavy cream, 80g butter
Add the milk, heavy cream and the butter, cut into small pieces. Mix everything until you get a soft and smooth dough.
3. Step:
Baking
Preheat the oven to 160°C fan. Then grease an ovenproof dish well with butter. If you are using fresh peaches, wash, peel and chop them. Mix them with the ingredients in step 1. If you are using canned peaches, chop and mix them with the ingredients in step 2.
Spread the peaches on the bottom of the baking dish and cover them with pieces of dough like a rag rug.
Now bake your cobbler for 25 minutes until the dough is nice and golden.
Tip:
Serve with vanilla ice cream and sift powdered sugar on it.
Good luck!
